Table Top Displays

To provide a comprehensive provincial conference experience, each CHB will once again have the opportunity to develop a table top display showcasing the great work of your CHB. 

Your survey responses were nearly unanimous in this request, and we are glad to provide this chance for you to share with others.

This year, however, we would like to structure this opportunity in a way that directly relates to the topics you have identified as being important to your work and the health of your communities (via your survey responses).

Therefore, we invite CHBs to develop and focus your displays with the following questions or topics in mind:
• Communication Strategies re Health Plans
• Increasing Community Awareness About CHB’s
• Methods for Gathering Data for Health Plans (survey methods, focus groups, etc.)
• Strategies for Building Successful Community Partnerships

We ask that as you prepare your conference displays that you please forward us any electronic versions of documents, tools, resources or links that are applicable to your display and the conference topic areas.  These can be e-mailed to Shelly Taylor, Conference Registration Assistant, at foundation-ekm@avdha.nshealth.ca

Shelly will categorize and post these resources on the conference website so they will be accessible to everyone in an environmentally friendly manner.  Post-conference, the resources will be transferred to the Provincial CHB website and accessible there for all.

Thank you in advance for your effort in sending these materials – doing so will enhance our ability to effectively share resources on a provincial level.

Deadline to register your display is June 30th.  Click on the link at the bottom of this page to register your table display.

The Conference Site will provide the following:
• One 6 foot table, draped with a cloth (burgundy)
• Wireless internet capability (delegates must bring their own laptops with wireless capability)
• Power outlets (if required)

Set up and take down
Table displays can be set up as early as 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 21st, and we request that all are in place no later than 2:30 p.m. the same day.  We ask that displays be manned during the specific “table display” times indicated on the program.

Displays are limited to one per CHB. If you are collaborating with other CHBs within your District on a display, please be sure to indicate this in the space provided on the registration page.

We hope this format will enable the displays to focus on the areas you identified in the survey, and, therefore, be able to achieve a successful overall conference experience.
